Vocational diplomas and certificates that lead straight to trades and technical careers, usually in two or three years. NSFAS funds them fully, with a monthly stipend. Not a fallback — for many careers, the strongest route.

“TVET is for students who can’t get into university.”

TVET is a different track, not a lower one. For trades and many technical careers it leads to strong employment outcomes.
